This is a very easy evening tea time snack. Widely available in all supermarket these days, it is excellent when made with salt, chilli powder and any other spice of preference
Preparation Time: 2 minutes
Cooking Time : 15 minutes
Ingredients
Cornflakes / Makai Poha(The variety that you can fry) - 250 gm
Salt - to taste
Chilli Powder - to taste
Oil - for frying
Procedure
1. Heat oil in a kadai
2. Mix salt and chilli powder in a cup.
3. When the oil is hot, keep the flame on a medium and fry the cornflakes till crisp.
4. While the cornflakes is still hot, sprinkle the salt and chilli powder mix and toss well to coat evenly.
Notes:
1. You can fry and add some groundnuts / gram dal (pottukadalai)
