Wheat Flour Honey Cake

Preparation Time : 15 minutes
Cooking Time : 40 minutes

Ingredients

Wheat Flour - 1 1/2 cups
Maida /All purpose flour - 1/2  cup
Baking powder - 2 tsp
Baking Soda - 1/2 tsp
Milk Powder - 4 tbsp
Curd - 1/2 cup
Honey - 1 cup
Sugar - 1/2 cup
Oil / Butter - 3/4 cup
Cinnamon, clove and ginger powder - 1 tsp
Cake Fruit - 1/2 cup
Cherries - a few

Procedure

1. Sieve maida, wheat flour, baking powder and soda together.
2. Mix oil, curd, milk powder, half cup honey, powdered spices and sugar.
3. Beat for 5 - 7 minutes
4. Add flour mix and beat for another 5 - 10 minutes till creamy.
5. Add some liquid milk if needed
6. Mix cake fruit with it
7. Grease a cake tin and pour batter into it
8. Bake in a pre heated oven for 30 - 35  minutes / till a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
9. Prick the cake with a fork and pour the remaining honey over it.
10. Garnish with glazed cherries
