Jam Buns

Preparation Time : 20 minutes
Cooking Time : 30 minutes

Ingredients

Maida - 100 gm
Sugar - 50 gm
Butter - 60 gm
Baking Powder - 1/4 tsp
Jam - 20 gm

Procedure

1. Sieve together maida and baking powder
2. Rub in butter
3. Add sugar and mix to a soft smooth dough by adding milk / water little by little
4. Knead gently till the dough is soft
5. Divide the dough into small balls
6. Make a depression in each ball and fill with jam
7. Arrange them on a gresed tray and bake in a 300 F / 150 C preheated oven for 10 minutes
